Join hands for safe women and secure nation

Being in the 21st century, we still talk about the safety of girls and women in India are a very serious concern. Whether, today or old-time there is always a fear about the safety of women. In present shocking crimes- theft, robbery, murder, fraud, child marriage, dowry system, disturbance and rape activities is increasing instead of decreasing. The condition is that the safety of the women, until her has reached own house, her does not feel safe. All women are bothering about safety themselves, who struggle in everyday life.
After the gang rape and death of a 23-year-old physiotherapy student in New Delhi December 2012, has sparked headlines around the world. Almost every area of the India is feeling insecure, the women are not safe on the streets, in the homes of the elderly are getting robbed and killed.
Today, women are more intelligent and independent than before. Women’s are safe only if they trust themselves. If country joins hands together and raises awareness on safety, provides women's safety counseling, legal services, workshops, phone support, Information & advocacy support, encouragement and education is a must for all. These awareness for women to learn, grow and recognize their own strengths and abilities. 
In India there are many laws has built to save women. In recently, the Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2013 commonly known as the anti-rape bill came into strength on April 03, 2013 after President Pranab Mukherjee put his signature into the bill. 
The bill has been agreement by the government as the "single pill" to address all ills (crimes) against women. Finally the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2013 or "anti-rape law" has been passed by Upper House of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) on Thursday, March 21, 2013. Earlier, the Bill was passed by the Lok Sabha (Lower House) on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Once President Pranab Mukherkee ratifies it and issues a notification, the Bill will become a law. The need for a strict law to deal with sex crimes against women was felt after the ruthless gang-rape and death of a 23-year-old physiotherapy student.
